Brentford's- Ricardo Bovio "The Goal Is Division Title & Promotion

Brentford midfielder Ricardo Bovio believes it is important for the club to put the mediocracy of the past behind them and look forward to a rewarding future.

The Brazilian starter rotates his position with Cameroonian Kelvine Matute every other match, and is likely to be the top offensive player at Brentford if his form holds for the rest of the season.

The former Ceara SC midfielder feels however that the players should be motivated to win the EC 7046 Division 3 title, rather than reflect on mid-table finishes.

"This season has been a decent start, but there is room for much improvement. We must keep looking forward, we play good football, but we should always be improving. "We cannot get complacent, we have to set new goals and seek the title and promotion. Our goal is to win every match we enter. It is very difficult but we must be very prepared."

Bovio also offered his assesment on Brentford's highest rated player, forward Kyle Lafferty. The Northern Irishman has performed well in all his matches, but suprisingly has yet to score a goal. "He is very fast, technical and intelligent. He has talent. He just has to get used to our game, and we will support him.
