Harman: We Will Improve

Harman: We Will Improve

Saddlers boss Tony Harman this afternoon insisted his side will improve following there slow start to the campaign. Walsall have only picked up 1 point from the opening 3 games but Harman is adamant Walsall will not suffer 'second season syndrome' and instead bemoans the club's difficult start to the season. Harman, ' If you look at the fixture list we were always going to struggle to get off to a quick start. Our first 5 games were Swansea, Preston, MK Dons, West Ham and Villa. They are all sides who I would expect to be in and around the play-offs come the end of the season. If we can get through this period with some points on the board then hopefully we can put a bit of a run together and start to climb the table'.

There is good news for Walsall fans as club captain Mousa Dembele could be set for a return to action on Wednesday night at West Ham. The Belgian International has been out of action so far this term after suffering a strained hamstring in the play-off semi-final defeat against Bolton and his return will be a big lift for Harman's side.
