The Big Match

(Match -22 - WED 8th JAN 2014)

By SIRMARKHUGHES (Dan Malone)

Bolton [13th] v Everton [14th]

Bolton players seem to be settling in under new the new boss, they have only lost one of last six and have won the last three on the bounce although with no disrespect to Bolton's recent conquests Leeds, Stoke and Bury the game against former Champions Everton should be much tougher, Bolton seem to be getting there to the desired players to fill the managers tactical positions although I do think Vertonghen will be a massive miss today.
Everton were last years Champions but have found it tough this season, whether that is down to everyone wanting to beat them or the fact that they are stuck in a 3-5-2 week in week out, form has definitely picked up in the last six games though, only losing one of the games and that was against high flying Arsenal, they have a full squad to pick from.

Probable formations :

Bolton :  5-4-1
Everton : 3-5-2

League position/League form :

Bolton : [13th] DDLWWW
Everton:  [14th] WDLDLW

Prediction : A 5-4-1 usually beats a 3-5-2 but with the big defender missing for Bolton that should swing things in Everton's favour, I can see them ending Bolton's winning run.

Prediction 1-3
