THE BIG MATCH

Welcome to THE BIG MATCH

The BIG MATCH is a new feature - given to us by Sirmarkhughes (Dan)

If anyone would like to see a certain feature in the blog, just contact me - it may get added to the blog.

About THE BIG MATCH

TBM is open to any EC7046 manager, they simple preview & predict ONE match from each division, or ANY ONE match in 7046 (the BIG match or matches)

A short preview of the match and a prediction of the result is only required. It's upto you, either ONE MATCH or ONE from EACH Division (4 matches)

Maybe you don't want to be tied down as a blog writer, this is your chance to get articles added to the blog.

HOW TO GET PREVIEW/PREDICTION ADDED TO THE BLOG.

Basically, you do your preview and prediction (1 or 4 matches), when completed, you send it to me via a PM, I then take care of the colour/size/font /image etc and it's then added to the blog by MYSELF (accredited to the manager)

In doing so, it gives you more time to focus on the article without the need to get images, fonts, sizes etc

THE BIG MATCH will be added in the MAIN BLOG area
IF YOU PREFER, YOU CAN ADD PREVIEW & PREDICTIONS IN THE Preview & Predictions thread in the FORUM

The Big Match

By Sirmarkhughes (Dan Malone)

(match -8 - wed 20/11/13)

Division 1

Chelsea [2nd ] -Fulham [4th]

Chelsea are one of only two unbeaten Premiership sides this season and with players like Fabregas, Lahm, Ramos, Falcao and Tevez they are rated higher than there opponents today, Fabregas and Falcao have scored 60% of Chelsea's goals in the league this season so are definitely the pair to watch today against Fulham.
Fulham have a few high rated players themselves in Evra, Carrick, Hamsik, Sahin and Hulk.66% of Fulham's goals in league have came from the trio of Hulk, Sahin & Hernandez .
The games between this pair are usually tight I can see this being a score draw.

Prediction 1-1

Division 2

Milton Keynes Dons[16th] -Yeovil Town [20th]

Strange to see MK Dons down at the lower end of the table in these early stages as I had them down for one of the promotion favourites, Pedro, Walcott, Badstuber and Defoe are some of their best players with Defoe the most prolific marksman.
What is going on at Yeovil? Mr Malcolm is an astute tactician but his side have lost seven straight games scoring only two goals and conceding twenty, they need to start getting into gear of it will be division three by Christmas.
This game looks like a mismatch, I say an easy win for MK Dons.

Prediction 3-0

============================================

Division 3

Peterborough United[2nd] -Barnsley [7th]

Two big teams who I expect will be thereabouts for the play-offs/promotion come the end of the season.
The teams are evenly matched , Pocognoli, Icardi & Modeste have eleven goals between them for Peterborough whilst Lopez & Hamouma have bagged eight between them for Barnsley.
Games between the pair have been high scoring affairs with fifteen goals in last four head to heads.
I think Peterborough will edge this today.

Prediction 4-2

=============================================

Division 4

Gillingham[15th]-Hull[2nd]

Hull are the highest scorers through all divisions with twenty-five goals so far with Kuranyi  & Kleber bagging eleven of them.
Gillingham are under fledgling manager Felix who is adding a bit of a South American touch to his side.
The teams have never played before with Hull dropping down to this division this season, I see a bit too much of a gulf in class and think Hull will easily win this.

Prediction 1-4
