Coming Soon - The King of Cups!

What's better I ask you than a competition that you can compete against all other 79 7046 managers without having to do any extra work? Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you, The King of Cups!*

So, I hear you ask, how does it work? Simple: the King of Cups is a competition within a competition where each team is awarded points according to how well they have performed in each of the domestic cup across all 7046 seasons (the English Cup and English Shield - SMFA comps are discounted so all teams can compete).

Teams get points for how far they progress in each season's cups. There's 1 point for getting knocked out in the first round, 2 point for making it to the 2nd round, 3 for the 3rd round, 4 for the 4th round, 5 for reaching the quarter-finals, 6 for a semi-final spot, 7 if you're runner-up, and 8 for the winner.

It's that simple! The scores have already been totted up and will be released bit by bit over the course of this week on the M/R thread. All clubs will be given a rank according to their performance so all you have to do is sit back and wait, maybe speculating in the meantime on where you think your club will be ranked and who might be the King of Cups. And remember, this is based on club performance, not manager performance, so if your club did bad and you haven't been there from the start you can always try and blame the poor show on some other sucker!

*Disclaimer: In the event that one of our esteemed lady members wins then it shall be renamed 'The Queen of Cups'
