Millwall have accepted a £9m bid from Juve for club captain LEGROTTAGLIE.
This is sensational news which may upset some supporters.
Millwall manager - Craig said.
"I thought long and hard about this deal and finally agreed to sell our captain. It was based on his purchase price, his age and recent form dip. I accepted £9m for a 34 yr old and I may not get an offer like that again. We got him for £4.7m so its good business.
I have a player in mind to replace him and I hope that it helps us financially, only time will tell if it will work out or not on the pitch. It's the same situation as last year when I had to make a decision re MORISON who was the fans' favourite
Tonight, MILLWALL lost in the 1st rnd Cup match 1-0.
Millwall have to focus on the league to hopefully reach the Play-Offs and the less matches we play, the stronger & fitter we'll be to put in a strong challenge".
